Charging the OBET Sensor

Charging the OBET Sensor

Prepare the Sensor for Charging

Remove the OBET wrap from the horse and then remove the sensor from the holder within the wrap.
Wipe the sensor with a clean damp cloth or pre-moistened towelette.

Place the Sensor into the Charge Holder

Locate the 4 metal contact spots on the back of the Sensor.
Align the 4 metal contacts on the back of the Sensor with the 4 metal contacts on the USB charger holder.
Snap the Sensor into the charger holder so that the 4 contacts on the Sensor connect with the 4 metal contacts on the charger holder.

When placed correctly, the metal power button should fit snugly into one side of the charger holder, and the power indicator light into other side of the holder.

Begin Charging

Plug the charging holder into any USB slot to begin charging.
During charging, the power indicator light on the side of the OBET Sensor will blink through a series of colors to indicate the percentage of charge on the battery.
If the power indicator light does not turn on when you plug the charger holder into a USB slot, then the Sensor is not placed correctly into the charger holder.   Try removing the sensor from the charger holder and rotate it 180 degrees, and ensure that the 4 sensors dots are aligned on the Sensor and the charger holder.

Charging Battery Percentage

When charging, the power indicator light will flash through a series of colors to indicate the percentage of charge on the battery:
Red                   0-9%
Orange            10-29%
Yellow            30-79%
Green            80-99%

Charging Completion

Charging is complete when the power indicator light on the Sensor shows a steady (not-blinking)  green light.
Once the Sensor is fully charged, remove the charging holder from the USB slot and then remove the OBET Sensor from the charging holder.
